Sheridans Cheesemongers is run by its owners; Kevin Sheridan, Seamus Sheridan and Fiona Corbett. The company was founded in 1995, when brothers Seamus and Kevin started selling Irish farmhouse cheeses at the Galway market. Shortly after they opened a shop in Galway with Irish farmhouse cheeses piled from floor to ceiling. Fiona joined in 1997 and Dublin markets and a shop on South Anne Street in the city centre were established that year. The Irish cheeses were quickly joined by their European cousins as well as a huge range of other artisan foods including olive oils, cured meats, condiments and pasta sourced during travels in Europe.

The Challenge

Sheridans approached us to redevelop their website in order to increase the number of products on their online shop greatly and make the process for ordering online much easier.

They also wished to have a custom catalogue built for their range of cheese as well as the implementation of a unique filtering system to allow customers to sort through their vast range of artisan products.

Finally, Sheridans were in the process of launching a new style of product packaging and this aesthetic was to be carried over into their website.


iSeek built a custom post type system in WordPress that makes adding a cheese product to the catalogue very easy, all the filters are easy to add and update as well and it makes browsing this area of the website both unique and more enjoyable.

We restructured the categories and navigation for their online shop section as well as several other tweaks to make the shopping experience easier.

Finally we worked with the packaging designers to create a unique look for the website that reflects the aesthetic and brand identity of their new packaging.
