Overview
Since 1978 the Crowley group of companies have been supplying coatings, cleaning chemicals and equipment to a wide range of industries in the Munster region. Based in South Link Park Ballycurreen on the outskirts of Cork city we have a team of expert staff and trained representatives who provide customers with both market leading products and professional service.
The Challenge
Crowley Group created a new division of their business to sell Karcher products as an authorised premier dealer, Crowley Cleaning, and the client needed an online presence to promote this new business.
We initially created an online catalogue of the products but the client wished to upgrade this to full e-commerce and we were able to adapt our work to quickly suit this.
Karcher supplied strict guidelines on how their brand was to be used and we had to be careful in our design so that it was clear this site was a premier dealer for Karcher products.
Result
We created a custom e-commerce product system so the client can easily add and remove products as needed. Though the catalogue needed to work like an online shop, the client was not interested in selling over the internet, so we customised the system to show a request form link rather than a price and add to cart button.
The client also had a number of other features such as video guides on the use of the products and other custom fields which needed to be incorporated into their product listings.
